My favorite and easy swaps

ENG The easiest and nicest thing I have brought into my life have been these cloth bags. Of course they are better for the environment than plastic bags but also they are very cute. While going to the store I don't even think about buying a plastic bag. While I'm about to go out I choose the bag according to my outfit. I usually choose between the light or dark one and now there is a cool element added to my outfit.

Finding a cloth bag is very easy. Ask friends and family of they have spear bags or buy some from a thrift store.

I think there is no need to buy new bags because there are plenty to get from everywhere else. Buying bags from a second-hand store they are one thing cheaper but also better for nature because when buying from the store we get a brand new product.

We don't know if the product was produced ethically and from sustainable materials. A second-hand purchase is given a new life then. Like you can see from my picture it is nice to buy a bag from your travels but you will end up accumulating way too many because nowadays we get given so many during events. And you will end up using your two favorites anyways. I for example have six bags and so does my mum, but both of us still use are favorite two bags.

Another thing that is always in my bag are produce bags for fruit-veg and also dried fruit and nuts. I buy fruit and veggies loos or in my mesh bags. Into these bags I also buy dried banana slices or nuts. I also bought dried cranberries into that white bag. The bag was pink afterwards but it became white again in the wash. Into the white cotton bag I have also bought pastries or loose candy while going to the cinema.

Sometimes I do make mistakes and forgot my bags and end up using one or two plastic bags. In those situations I try to buy loosely what possible and sometimes hair ties help you buy a bunch of carrot. Fortunately 95% of the time I do good.

Every zero-waster owns a water bottle. Mine was gifted to me by my best friend. The water stays cool all day and I can also have tea in it. It even came with a tea strainer. I have also bought smoothies into this bottle and the employees have has no problem with it. And if I want then I can drink my smoothies with a straw I can use my foldable straw, but I do own a straw straw and a bamboostraw. Whichever straw I use, I clean it when I get home to prevent the smell of whatever I have had to stick to it.
