Books I have read in the last 5 months.

When I first moved I read Minu Island(My Iceland), which was a good read, but it was written by a 40+ year old man, so it was hard to relate. After that I read Girlboss which was one of the best thrift store book finds ever. I liked the way it was written and what it taught me. When 2020 hit then I decided to start reading more. So in January I finished A little bit of mindfulness and Minu Reyjavík. Both books I loved a lot and would recommend to anyone interested in either one of those topics.

Now I am hoping to finish atleast one book in February and doing that every month going forward. Right now I started reading Philosophy for busy people( but it is basically philosophy for dummies) I have never been good with philosophy and thought I would give it a try. And I have also been listening to The Art if Not Giving a Fuck which has been a great listen so far and will be at least one book I finish by the end of February. The other book that I have been listening for a long time is The Uninhabitable Earth which is a hard environmental book talking about the possibilities of our future and it is about time I finish this book. Don’t get me wrong, it is a good book, but listening is not my strongest characteristic and the books is very scientific.

I must say that I am not very specific on where I get my books from. I am a bigger fan of physical books then audiobooks and I am happy about finding good books in both thrift stores and usual books stores, but I must say that finding good books in second hand stores gives me a bigger thrill. At the moment I am not planning on buying any more new books, because our book collection has already become quite big due to great finds in thrift stores.

One of my best finds so far has been an incomplete series of Harry Potter books, which I have actually never read.
